Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, having canted end bays to ground floor. Hipped natural slate roof with rendered chimneystacks to gables, stone copings, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Ruled and lined render and raised parallel quoins to front elevation first floor, moulded limestone string course at sill level, ashlar struck render to ground floor with rendered plinth. Square-headed window openings with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, moulded limestone surrounds to first floor windows, tooled limestone sills to ground floor. Smooth render to canted bays with paired timber sliding sash windows to front, tooled limestone sills, string course and parapet topped with moulded cornice. Painted timber four-panel entrance door flanked by timber sidelights with transom light above, and having moulded limestone surround with flat projecting keystone. Set back from road behind decorative wrought-iron railings set on rendered plinth, square rendered gate piers with decorative wrought-iron gates.

Set on the main street in Menlough, this symmetrically fronted house is a visually attractive part of the village. The simple form is enriched by rendered detailing and canted bays to the front elevation, making it one of architectural interest. The central entrance door with its stone surround and the original timber sash windows are of particular note. The retention of the original form and fabric makes this dwelling an important part of the architectural heritage of the area.
