What is recorded here
Terraced three-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1810, with recent shopfront to ground floor. Now in use as a restaurant. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings having rendered surrounds, sill course and replacement uPVC windows. Shopfront comprising cornice, fascia, consoles and pilasters. Square-headed openings with replacement half-glazed timber panelled doors.
Built as part of a terrace of three, this classically inspired building presents a strong façade to the streetscape, despite alterations to the ground floor. It retains its fenestration rhythm, which is enlivened by the render surrounds.
