Terraced single-bay two-storey former house, built c.1840, with timber shopfront to ground floor and half dormer window to front (south) elevation. Now in use as shop. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Lined-and-ruled render walls. Square-headed window opening with render sill to first floor, having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash window. Timber shopfront comprising replacement mirror panelled pilasters, surmounted by earlier channelled consoles flanking frieze with moulded cornice and retractable awning above. Square-headed window openings on panelled render stall risers set at inverted angle, having fixed timber-framed display windows, flanking central recessed square-headed door opening, having double-leaf glazed timber doors with polychrome tiled threshold. Retractable railings to shopfront.

The symmetrical form of this modestly scaled building is greatly enhanced by its fine shopfront. The simple detailing, angled display windows, polychrome tiles and retractable awning are features that are sadly becoming increasingly rare.
