What is recorded here
Pair of terraced two-bay three-storey houses, built c.1820, with 1990s shopfront to northern house. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and terracotta pots. Pebbledashed walls. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Timber panelled door with petal fanlight and stucco surround. Shopfront is within a segmental-arched cut sandstone opening.
These houses are part of a Georgian terrace, situated on the west side of Main Street. They retain significant features including original six-over-six timber sash windows and a petal fanlight. Such elements give character to the symmetrical design.
