Cast-iron rainwater goods on timber eaves boards to projecting eaves supported on timber brackets. Scalloped tiled roofs to canted bays and porches. Rendered walls with roughcast render to gabled bay, plinth course and moulded render string course. Square-headed window openings with stone sills and replacement uPVC windows. Timber casement windows to canted bay eastern house. Porches supported on carved timber posts with timber balustrade to sides on rendered plinth walls and having polychromatic tiled floor and limestone steps. Square-headed door opening with replacement doors. Set back from road and bounded to front site by rubble stone boundary wall with red brick gate piers to wrought-iron gate. Vehicular entrance now formed to boundary of western house.

The combination of the gabled bays, porches, dormer windows and canted bays add rhythm to this pair which is enhanced by the use of finely-executed timber detailing to the bargeboards, porches, and eaves. Despite the replacement of the windows, much of its character has been retained and it makes a handsome addition to the streetscape.
