In poorly drained soil, with marsh on all side with ground sloping up to the NW. ‘Castle Warren’ (KK015-014002-) is located 500m to the SE. The foundations of a rectangular building (dims. 10m NE-SW; 6.65m NW-SE) within a moated site (KK015-015----). The building is defined by a bank (Wth 1m).
