What is recorded here
Straddling a slightly raised area in the E half of a cashel (MA082-008----).
A low, sub-circular stony platform (11m E–W; 9m N–S) which is built up to compensate for the natural E-facing slope within the cashel interior. It is defined on the W half by a slightly raised stony rim (Wth 1.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.15m) and on the E half by a broadly slumping stony scarp (Wth slope 4m; ext. H 1.5m). It is crossed roughly centrally by a ruined field wall which traverses the cashel interior. The platform is covered in sod and moss and the surface feels stony underfoot. It may be there remains of a house.
