Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1860, with extension to rear. Pitched thatched roof with mesh over, roped to stone pegs built into gable walls and with metal rod to front and rear, and having two rendered chimneystacks; flat felt roof to extension. Rendered walls with square-headed openings, windows enlarged and having painted concrete sills, with replacement uPVC windows and door.

This house, set in the beautiful rural landscape of Gleann Gheis [Glengesh], is typical of the vernacular architecture of Dún na nGall [County Donegal] and has the characteristic rounded-profile thatched roof, the ropes secured by pegs, and low chimneystacks.
