Semi-detached three-bay three-storey over basement house, built 1874, with shared limestone Tuscan portico, camber-headed windows with moulded architraves and ornamental swags; decorative railings to boundary. Slate pitched roof with filigree detail to decorative ridge tiles having flat roofed dormer. Painted render finish with string courses to exterior.
One of a pair of houses built to a scale and with a level of external stucco ornamentation rarely found in the city. Other decorative elements such as the elaborate cast iron railings and gates have been retained, as have timber sash windows.
