What is recorded here

End-of-terrace four-bay three-storey former house with integral carriage arch, built c. 1870, now in use as public house. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack and rendered parapet. Rendered walls with replacement shopfront, c. 1990, to ground floor. Timber sash windows to upper floors.
The scale and form of this building make a notable and positive addition to the streetscape. Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this former house is enhanced by the retention of the timber sash windows to the upper floors.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
