What is recorded here
End-of-terrace two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1860, now in use as flats. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls with raised render surround to square-headed door opening. Remains of limestone steps leading to replacement glazed door. Replacement uPVC windows.
The form and scale of this former house contribute to the streetscape. Though many original features and materials have been replaced, this house forms part of an interesting group with the houses to the east. This area retains many mid nineteenth-century three-storey terraced houses, which contribute to the unique character of this part of the city.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
