Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1910, having recent lean-to porch to front (south) and single-storey lean-to addition to rear (north). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, gable copings, timber clad eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Exposed rubble limestone wall with red brick quoins to front elevation, rendered walls to side (east, west) elevations and roughcast rendered wall to rear. Square-headed window openings with render and limestone sills throughout, having red brick block-and-start surrounds and red brick voussoirs to front elevation openings. Two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows throughout. Square-headed door opening with red brick block-and-start surround and red brick voussoirs to interior of recent porch having timber door frame and overlight. Rubble limestone enclosing walls having square-profile limestone gate piers with red brick quoins, platband and moulded render caps with cast-iron pedestrian gate.

Though altered by the removal of the front facade's render, this building's historic character remains. The timber sliding sash windows, limestone sills and slate roof are noteworthy features. Its prominent location on the shore, overlooking the Owenboy River and enjoying a fine view of Crosshaven to the south, makes it a notable addition in the landscape.
