What is recorded here

Archaeological excavations in 2001 revealed a series of large post-holes, defining an oval area (dims. 4.5m by 4.12m, Site 40). The interior of the house was supported by irregularly placed posts. The house was defined in the E by a slot-trench. Artefacts from the house included a circular sandstone disc, a quartz tool, fragments of polished stone tools and sherds of Bronze age pottery (Seaver 2003, 130).
