Semi-detached three-bay two-storey house with attic accommodation, built c. 1850, having single-bay entrance porch with pitched slate roof to front (west) elevation, and recent single-storey extension with pitched artificial slate roof to rear. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack, metal framed rooflights, terracotta ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rubble stone walls, rendered walls to porch. Square-headed openings with render surrounds and slate sills and six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed opening with timber battened half-door. Rubble stone boundary wall with vertical coping stones, communal entrance comprising square-profile piers and wrought-iron pedestrian gate.

Simple form and retention of traditional materials including slate sills create a pleasing pair of houses. Semi-detached typology unusual in such rural site, possibly associated with one of the neighbouring large houses. Sited at a crossroads, makes a valuable architectural contribution to rural landscape.
