This blue commemorative plaque records: Foley House. Foley House, Architect John Nash, was built around 1794 for Richard Foley Esq. A regular guest was his brother Admiral Sir Thomas Foley. The house was visited in 1802 by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton. Recorded plaque organisation: Haverfordwest Civic Society, Haverfordwest Town Council.
Foley House, designed by architect John Nash around 1794 for Richard Foley, was visited in 1802 by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton. Admiral Thomas Foley, brother of Richard Foley, was a distinguished Royal Navy officer who served during the American War of Independence and the French Revolutionary Wars.
