According to OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 240), 'It is said in the country that there is a well called Tobar na Slainte, the well of health, Fons Salutis, at Killosolan village, but when I went there I could get no one to point out a well of the name'. Not located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
