What is recorded here

Holy wells in Garryduff (Clandonagh By.), Garryduff (Clanmallagh By.) and Garryduff (Stradbally By.) mark one townland where clean water may have served prayer, healing or remembrance before the field changed around it. They are not a grand church or a row of standing stones, but small human answers to a place that felt worthy of care. Much of their life is lost now, yet the name still points to water, devotion and the patience of ordinary people.
