Holy well

What is recorded here

Garranmacgarrett holds one of three holy wells on John O'Donoghue's farm, yet its exact location has been lost. Bowman recorded it in 1934, but no further details have survived. The well may still hide beneath brambles or farmyard stones, waiting for someone to remember the shape of its edge.
