Crump Island holds a holy well, a ritual site where water and memory still touch. The island itself is a small place, but the well gives it a heartbeat. People may have knelt at its edge, poured offerings into the dark, or drank until hunger vanished. Even without a written date, the water remains the witness, rising through soil that has forgotten every name except its own.
