What is recorded here

Columbkille is a small townland in County Kilkenny with a holy well that still belongs to the land. The water may have risen through limestone, fed rain from hilltop clouds, and given people a reason to gather, pray, wash wounds or remember the dead. The well is not a display or a decoration. It is a living marker, holding the townland together across centuries.
