What is recorded here

An Máimín holds a round pothole cut by water into a sloping rock, not a basin built by human hands. It sits below the tide line, thirty metres from the quay called Céibh Poll Uí Mhuirin, and keeps one coin in its bottom. The sea takes the well back at high water and returns it at low water, so prayer and erosion share the same hole.

On shore below HWM c. 300m SW of the quay called Céibh Poll Uí Mhuirin. It consists of a natural round pothole, in a smooth sloping channel, on the outer flank of a sloping rock.
