Hmt Rose Ii was a steam trawler built in 1917 and later converted for minesweeping duties during World War I. It was lost in 1918 when it struck a mine off the coast of Scotland, resulting in the deaths of all 12 crew members; the wreck remains an important archaeological site reflecting naval adaptations during the war.
