What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Hms Caroline as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
HMS Caroline was a C-class submarine of the Royal Navy, lost in 1915 during World War I after striking a mine in the North Sea. The wreck was discovered in 2016 and is considered significant as one of the few surviving examples of early 20th-century British submarines.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
