HMS Caroline, aft section (UKHO 12005)

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records HMS Caroline, aft section (UKHO 12005) as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
HMS Caroline was a C-class light cruiser built for the Royal Navy in the early 20th century and served during World War I. It was damaged in the Battle of Jutland in 1916 but was later repaired and continued in service until the 1950s; the wreck listed here refers to its preserved aft section, which remains in Belfast as a museum ship and does not represent a lost vessel.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
