What is recorded here

Cast-iron water pump, erected c.1870, now missing the pumping arm. Banding to the pier and fluting to the neck and cap.
This attractive cast water pump is located at the south end of the village on the village green and would have once acted as a communal water source. The banding and fluting are well executed and add artistic interest to this utilitarian object.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
