Terraced two-storey two-bay former almshouse, built 1861, with steep gablet. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls with recessed plaque to gablet and inscribed limestone plaque to front (south) elevation. Square-headed openings with replacement uPVC windows and painted sills. Pointed arch opening with overlight and replacement uPVC door. Painted rendered boundary walls.

Almshouse built by Reverend George Sackville Cotter Hingston (1819-58) retaining its original form which is enlivened by the inscribed plaque and steep slender gablet.
