This stone commemorative plaque records: This garden was opened in 1951 was paid for by Mr Harold W Mooring Aldridge M. A. out of a legacy from Miss Charlotte Druitt sister of Herbert Druitt Recorded plaque organisation: Friends of the Red House Museum.
Herbert Druitt and Charlotte Druitt were siblings whose family's financial legacy contributed to the creation of this garden in 1951, highlighting their local philanthropic impact.
