What is recorded here

Thomas Jordan and Catherine Hanon died in 1629, marking one of the oldest dated graves in County Dublin. They may have been neighbours, traders or kin, but their names still stand out because most local graves either lost their dates or never carried them at all.

There is a headstone in the graveyard (DU018-060010-) which commemorated Thomas Jordan and Catherine Hanon d. 1629 (Pers com. Danny Parkinson).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
