Headstone in Unknown Townland

Headstone

What is recorded here

William Nally died in 1699, and his headstone still stands in a County Dublin graveyard. The date is clear even though the townland has been lost. A life ended, was remembered, and the memory survived the forgetting of the place around it.
There is a headstone in the graveyard (DU 018-060010) which commemorates William Nally d. 1699 (Pers com Danny Parkinson).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
