What is recorded here

Hachured is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ringfort that has stood since before human memory. Local tradition holds that the boundary marks a hidden doorway rather than a abandoned home, warning visitors that the soil belongs to unseen neighbours. People may have built or reused the rampart for shelter, but the fort still carries that older claim.
