What is recorded here
Pre-development excavations between 1999-2003 revealed a series of large, post-holes, metalled surfaces and the outlines of possible buildings. Several hearths were also identified which produced evidence of foodstuffs (Simpson, L. 2006, 133, in Excavations 2003).
