What is recorded here
A small area (44 square metres) was archaeologically excavated (Stafford E. 2004 b. Excavation Licence No. 03E0355) in conjunction with the erection of a telecommunications mast. Features uncovered included a metalled stone surface, and portion of a small ditch (Wth 1.5m; D 0.92), the fill of which contained pottery sherds dating from the 13th to the 15th-century.
