What is recorded here

Evidence for Bronze Age (Beaker) activity associated with pits was uncovered during excavation of one of three circular-ditched enclosures at Broomfield, county Dublin. Excavation showed the enclosures to be nineteenth-century tree-rings erected in the 18th/19th century upon the earlier activity (O'Brien, E.1988, 118-123).
