What is recorded here
Skreen More is a graveyard in County Sligo, Ireland. Whether the land holds forgotten families, displaced saints or buried soldiers, the stones and soil still keep the shapes of lives that ended there. The wider county has recorded and protected many such places, yet this one remains less visible in public writing. That gap does not reduce its importance. It is still a graveyard, still marked by death, memory and the continuity of human presence in Skreen More.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
