Rathpatrick holds a graveyard where the dead have waited through centuries of rain and forgetting. The living may have laid ancestors beneath soil, marked rows with stones now broken or buried, then departed without warning. The field keeps their absence steady, a quiet witness to the patience of earth and the brevity of human memory.
