Graveslab in Unknown Townland is a 9th-10th-century stone with ringed crosses on both faces, buried in a Dublin garden until 1916. It traveled from an unknown townland to Lower Mount Street, carrying a dead person’s identity into a living neighborhood. The slab is in the National Museum of Ireland, preserving what the townland stopped naming.

In 1916 an Early Christian grave slab was found in the back garden of No. 97 Lower Mount Street (pers. comm. P. Healy). It is decorated on both faces with ringed crosses, indicating a date c. 9th-10th-century. It is in the National Museum of Ireland, Dublin (Swords, K. ed. 2009, 78, No. 11).
