Graveslab in Mylerstown marked the death of Rev. Christopher Hevetson in 1698, yet the slab has vanished from the base of the church wall. It may still lie buried under collapsed rubble, waiting for someone to clear the stones and read what the earth swallowed.

In a graveyard (KD003-011002-). Fitzgerald (1903-5, 319) recorded, 'Outside, and at the base of the west end of the south wall (of a church: KD003-011001-), lies a slab sunk in the ground bearing (an) almost indecipherable inscription, which faces east ..' commemorating the death of the Rev. Christopher Hevetson in 1698. The graveslab is no longer visible at the location indicated, but may be obscured by collapsed rubble from the church.
