The following description of this monument is taken from 'The Urban Archaeological Survey of County Limerick' compiled by John Bradley, Andrew Halpin and Heather A. King (Office of Public Works, 1985). "Grave slabs. Date uncertain Two fragmentary limestone slabs are also in the floor of the church. Neither is decorated. Dims: A. L. 124 W. 56-49 D. 15 B. Grave slab, likely medieval in date. Its significance lies in its potential association with early Christian or monastic burial practices in the region.
