What is recorded here

Kilcorban holds one of Ireland’s great buried libraries, where whole regions may have kept their histories before written records existed. Graveslabs such as this one carried markings, stories and memories that could be read by the people who lived beside them. They are not dead objects. They are waiting to be understood.
