Graveslab in Kilbrannish South

Graveslab

What is recorded here

Graveslab in Kilbrannish South is a plain rectangular stone, forty-eight centimetres tall and forty-three wide, lying NE-SW near the southeast edge of the graveyard in County Carlow. It has no carving, no name and no date, yet it occupies the kind of space where people once laid out a life before forgetting it. The absence is not emptiness; it is the shape of what was removed.
A plain roughly rectangular slab (H 0.48m; Wth 0.43m; T c. 0.06m) aligned NE-SW near SE edge of interior of graveyard (CW020-020001-). Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 19 August 2011
