Graveslab in Gardens (kilkenny City By., St. Mary’s Par.) preserves a lower cross arm and shaft fragment from St Francis' Abbey, recut into a rectangular block. The surviving fleur-de-lis suggests a floriated cross once marked a burial, while the rest was lost or reused. In the abbey gardens, that much decoration still visible is enough to remind a passer-by that death and craft shared the same stone.

In St Francis' Abbey (KK019-026101-). Portion of a limestone graveslab (L 0.44m; Wth 0.32m; D 0.29m) which has been recut to form a roughly rectangular block. It was decorated with a deeply incised floriated cross, though on this portion only the lower arm (Wth 0.045m) with a fleur-de-lis terminal survives, running immediately into a length of the cross-shaft.
