Graveslab in Commons (duleek Lower By.) sits in County Meath, Ireland. It marks John Bellew, who died in 1692 after being shot in the belly at the Battle of Aughrim. The slab rests on an older Preston-Plunkett tomb, layering two lives and two eras in one stone.

The graveslab (dims 1.39m x 0.67m; T 0.1-0.14m) that partly covers the Preston-Plunkett tomb (ME027-038006-) is not the original and commemorates John Bellew, who died in 1692. Incised inscription in Roman capitals: THIS TOMBE HATH BEEN REPAIRED AND / THE VAVLT MADE BY DAME MARY BERMINGHAM / OF DVNFERTH WIFE TO JOHN LORD BELLEW / WHOE WAS SHOT IN THE BELLY IN OVGHRIM FIGHT THE FIRST OF JVLY 1691.
