A graveslab described by Carrigan (1905, vol. 4, 140-41) as broken into two portions with an inscription in English in Roman capitals commemorating Walter FitzPiers Gaul [als. Medieval Christian graveslab; 13th–14th century. Commemorates Walter FitzPiers Gaul, indicating local aristocratic or gentry burial practices and the use of Roman script in funerary monuments during the medieval period.
