Graveslab in Ballymore Eustace East stands beside a high cross in a Kildare graveyard, its tapering granite body holding a broadly incised Latin cross on the west face. The slab reaches 1.2m high and measures 0.45-0.61m wide, earthfast and quiet beneath the open sky. It may have marked a buried life long forgotten, yet its sharp cross still points upward, waiting for someone to read the shape before the name is lost.
