What is recorded here

Graveslab in Ardfert is one of nine limestone slabs lying flat in the church floor of the Franciscan friary. Their date is unknown, but they mark burial or memorial use inside a working worship space. People may have walked past them for generations, unaware that the ground beneath their feet held dead bodies and forgotten names.
