Graveslab in Abbeypark is the middle of three slabs bracketed to the chancel wall of Clontuskert priory, reused in 1740 after surviving earlier burial rites. Its tapering stone, narrow at the base and broader above, bears a fleur-de-lis cross and an incised border, marking it as a vessel for memory rather than mere debris. The slab stands between older and younger companions, forcing attention to the way institutions keep repeating loss by changing the shape of the container but not the fact being contained.

This is the middle graveslab of three that have been bracketed to the N wall of the chancel of Clontuskert priory (GA088-001----). The slab (H 1.6m) tapers from the top (Wth 0.55m) to the bottom (Wth 0.41m) and varies in thickness from 0.18m at the top to 0.09m at the bottom. An incised line around the edges of the slab give it a border and a fleur-de-lis cross decorates the upper part of its face. The graveslab was reused in 1740. Another late medieval graveslab (GA088-001004-) stands to its W and a 17th-C example (GA088-001006-) stands to its E.
