Marked similarly on the 1840 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map. Located on a slight rise in a level landscape with the estuary of the N-S Glendine river c. 200m to the W. Power (1897b, 5-6) thought that the name might signify the church of St. Minghin or St. Binghin, perhaps derived from Benin, but there was never any evidence of a church. This is a small triangular graveyard (dims. c. 30m NW-SE; c. 28m N-S) defined by masonry walls with burials dating from c. 1785 to c. 1960.
