Killaconenagh church and graveyard in West Cork, disused since the early 19th century when the headstones were set. The stone wall still marks a square field in low pasture, but grass and weeds have taken back most of it. People may have stopped coming not from forgetting but from moving their lives elsewhere, leaving the dead behind in a place the living no longer needed.

In low lying pasture. Square area enclosed by stone wall; ruins of Killaconenagh church (CO115-045002-) in centre. Very heavily overgrown; headstones date from early 19th century. No longer in use.
