Grave Yd stands at a crossroads south of Churchtown, holding the ruined parish church of Ballintemple inside its living boundary. A 1779 headstone carries an intersecting hatchet and saw, perhaps marking a woodcutter whose tools shaped more than firewood. The small rectangular ground remains in use, suggesting that people still bring death back to the same stones where earlier hands carved warnings, memories, or pride.

On S side of road, 300m S of Churchtown village; small rectangular graveyard (c. 40m E-W; c. 30m N-S) at cross-roads. Ruins of parish church of Ballintemple at centre (CO089-04502-). Still in use; earliest headstones date from 1770s; headstone dated 1779 decorated with 'Hatchet, intersecting with a Saw (a woodcutter?)' (O'Shea 1988, 95).
