On S side of road, 300m S of Churchtown village; small rectangular graveyard (c. 40m E-W; c. 30m N-S) at cross-roads. Ruins of parish church of Ballintemple at centre (CO089-04502-). Still in use; earliest headstones date from 1770s; headstone dated 1779 decorated with 'Hatchet, intersecting with a Saw (a woodcutter?)' (O'Shea 1988, 95).
